Sportsmaster | Junior School

Dear Parents,

Unfortunately. much of our Football program succumbed to the wet weather, however, we still had a full set of Rugby fixtures and the Year 5s were able to play the inter-school football matches at away venues.

Our teams ran into some stiff opposition in many matches last weekend and learnt some valuable lessons about working as a team and being supportive of each other. Displaying good sportsmanship always, whether you win, lose or draw, is very important and is evident in our teams.

It was nice to be able to see our 11A Rugby team contest a hard-fought contest against Mosman Prep at Cooke Park. Trinity went down in the last 3 minutes to a runaway try, whilst we were on the attack for much of the preceding 10 minutes with the scores at the time locked at 19 apiece; a turnover proved costly.

Our Year 3s commenced their annual Basketball fixtures involving The Preparatory School last week as well. This continues today and for the next three Fridays.
