School of Rock

Trinity’s Drama Department is revving up with its major production of School of Rock which will take place in Term 2 2022. Here is a three-minute preview of what the boys experienced at their online assemblies last week. The aim is to have the show auditioned and cast by the end of term.

WHAT PARENTS CAN DO: Get your son involved, especially if he is reluctant to take the first step. The show is open to Years 7 to 12. So if your boy is a dancer or hip hopper, a gifted musician or an aspiring actor who may not yet be doing Drama, then give him a nudge to contact the Drama Department by either emailing bduhigg@trinity.nsw.edu.au or coming down to the Department in the Founder’s Basement. He will be provided with information about auditions and plenty of encouragement. Remember… “When all is one and one is all; to be a rock and not to roll”. Can you believe that lyric is now 50 years old?
