Music News

The Music School welcomes the start of 2021, with the resumption of Co-Curricular lessons and ensembles in Week 2. Further, our first concert of the year will proceed with a COVID-safe plan. This is the Annual Soloists’ Competition, to be held on Wednesday, 10 March 2021. Heats will begin in the week commencing Monday 1 March. Details for entry are available from Music Reception with a closing date of Monday 22 February.

In other news, we were excited to hear yesterday (January 26), that Janet Kneeshaw (wife of Peter Kneeshaw, one of our longest serving peripatetic music teachers and master organ teacher) has been honoured with an OAM for services to the performing arts and the community.
