A reminder to all applicants to prepare a video just in case we cannot hold these auditions live on 16th November. Mrs Campbell will email further details next week regarding piano accompaniment time and audition time in the eventuality these are able to be held onsite.

Concerto Competition

The 2021 Concerto Competition entries closed today. The Preparatory School will have boys involved in the Infants and Junior sections. Thanks for your commitment and we wish you well. The Finals will be held (live or online) in either weeks 7 or 8.  Further details to be advised by Dr McMcGregor to the boys selected to perform.

AMEB

As we aim to keep instrumental music progressing throughout this year a number of students have opted to prepare videos and submit to AMEB.  Thanks to these students and Instrumental Staff for their ongoing commitment to their music studies.

The Grade 3 and 4 Theory of Music boys are still in the midst of preparing for their examinations in the near future.  Keep up the good work boys and our thanks and appreciation to Mrs Trynes for all her work in supporting the students to attain this qualification to support their practical instrumental music studies.

Year 1 and 2 Strings Program and Year 4 Band Program

As the Instrumental Staff are not able to be onsite at this time, all the Year 1 and Year 2 Strings Program and the Year 4 Band Program will continue to be delivered online via either Seesaw or Canvas. Notification will be sent once there is a change in arrangements.  So boys do not need to bring their instruments to school.
