AMEB Theory of Music

Congratulations to the fourteen Grade 2 Theory of Music examination students for the excellent results they attained last weekend. Again we had boys who achieved 100% on this exam and a number of others who were awarded High Distinctions. Grades 3 and 4 will be held at a later date. Theory of Music classes will not resume until February 2022 and if you have any queries please contact Mrs Jenny Trynes jtrynes@trinity.nsw.edu.au to express your interest to enrol your son.

Concerto Competition

The Concerto Competition will go ahead in remote mode for 2021. Preparatory and Junior School students will be competing in the Junior Competition Section. During Week 4, students will be able to upload a 3 minute section of their Concerto which will constitute the Heats Section.

Students should submit this as a video to Mrs Dinora Marquez dmarquez@trinity.nsw.edu.au in Google or Cloud share format. The closing date will be Friday 29th October.

Heads of Sections and Dr McGregor will judge these over the course of Week 5 and announce the finalists. The Finals will take place in Week 7 or 8. Dr McGregor will confirm the date once he is clear about whether this will be a video submission where accompaniment can be used or not.
