Library News | Preparatory School

Thank you so much to James from Year 1 who shared some lovely photos of himself enjoying reading over the holidays!

Reading Recommendations

Infants
If you haven’t read this book yet, it is a must for all students. A lovely story about a caterpillar and his journey to transform into a butterfly. If you have already read this, why not try another one from the same author, Eric Carle.

Primary
All Roald Dahl books are magical portals to new and exciting worlds, but Matilda has to be one of the best. She is a very intelligent young girl who faces some problems but uses her power to improve her life and those around her.

Do you have a reading recommendation? Please email us at anel@trinity.nsw.edu.au. We would love to hear from you and share with others across the School.

Library Books

How exciting that we get to see some of you next week! We can’t wait to see your smiling faces around school. Unfortunately, there won’t be normal library borrowing for some time, but we are working on solutions to this problem, so we can assure you that students will have access to new books to read.

If your son is ready to borrow, he will need to return all of his existing library books that he has on loan. These can be brought back on any day and for the time being, kept in the classrooms. We cannot have students mixing in the Library foyer, so please keep all returns in the classroom and the Library staff will collect.
