Junior School Auxiliary Meeting

The minutes from last meeting were published.

Mark Dunn – Head of the Junior School

The School is in preparation for the return of students week beginning 18 October.

Restrictions are likely to evolve during the term, and advice will be updated as it comes to hand. As stated in the ‘Return to School’ document, currently all co-curricular (including swimming), is suspended until further notice, similar with the school bus service.

The car park will be the only entrance and exit used by Junior School boys, this includes any boys walking or catching public buses.

Only boys with brothers in the Senior School may be at school earlier than 8.30am or after 3pm.

Afterschool OSH is available, reminder that before school OSH is no longer provided due to lack of attendance.

Green Patch has been taking shape over lockdown and is ready for the boys to return to take it to the next stage.

Agenda Items

Rapid antigen testing is not currently being considered, and the School will review based upon recommendations from NSW Health and Education.

MOVE-A-THON – finishes next Friday, calling for donations from fundraising to be uploaded in the link via CANVAS.

Year 6 Valedictory – Auxiliary to provide gift (pen) and cake and balloons if required, as per previous years. Further clarity as the term progresses.

Fundraisers:-

Class Tea-towels – templates going out this week, and order details to follow.

Gelato day – schedule November, suggest Friday 12th

Christmas stall – no, given restrictions and coordination

Christmas cakes or similar (as Hot Cross Buns at Easter) – yes, Amanda to investigate with Rafael’s Bakery

Year Art-works – only year 1 to be offered for auction – Amanda to follow up with year parent.

Doughnuts – the school will take care of birthday doughnuts – or similar – for Term 4.
